Erasmus+

EUC: 263147-IC-1-2013-1-DE-ERASMUS-EUCX-1
ERASMUS ID Code: D BERLIN32

Erasmus+ is the European Union program for general and professional education, youth and sport. It replaces the former Erasmus Lifelong Learning program, which ended in 2014. From 2014 to 2020, Erasmus+ is supporting new perspectives in mobility for students and university staff in assisting young people and teachers to acquire professionally relevant employment and intercultural skills. As such, Erasmus+ fosters European and international cooperation through education and will help the participating countries to modernize their educational systems.

IPU has been supported by Erasmus as well as Erasmus+ since 2013. Students have had the possibility to complete a study program for three to twelve months or an internship for two to twelve months at a European guest university/institution.

For the 2019/20 and 2020/21 academic years, there are a total of 4-6 partial scholarships available each year at IPU.

Special Funding: Travel Abroad with a Handicap

People with handicaps can receive extra funding to account for higher costs in the context of ERASMUS+ participation. It applies to all ERASMUS+ opportunities (study, practicum, travel for the purpose of teaching and advanced study).
