The International Psychoanalytic University (IPU) is a state-recognized private university with its own psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic, where medical and psychological psychotherapists who have completed their professional training in three guideline-based methods (behavioral therapy, depth psychology-based psychotherapy, and analytical psychotherapy) provide treatment.

At the IPU's Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic, medical and psychological psychotherapists work in either a permanent or freelance capacity, conducting outpatient psychotherapies in addition to diagnostics.

Both adults and children and adolescents are treated in three guideline-based methods (behavioral therapy, depth psychology-based psychotherapy, analytical psychotherapy) in individual and group settings. One of the outpatient clinic's main areas of focus is the diagnosis and treatment of patients with psychoses. The IPU's Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic and the Charité Psychiatric University Hospital at St. Hedwig's Hospital (PUK SHK) work together to treat patients with schizophrenic and schizoaffective psychoses (see Psychoseambulanz Berlin).

Treatments offered at our clinic are covered by statutory health insurance in accordance with § 117 of the German Social Security Code, Book V (SGB V). Patients with private insurance can also submit their invoices to their respective insurance company.
