The International Psychoanalytic University Berlin invites its students to apply for 
funding for internships abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ and PROMOS 
programmes in the second half of 2026. 

Application deadline: April 30, 2026 

An internship abroad offers you the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience 
in an international environment, to deepen your language skills in practice, and to 
develop important intercultural competences for your further academic and 
professional path. 

Important: Internship registration is handled by the Studies and Teaching office. For 
subject-specific, technical, or registration questions, please contact them directly. 
Internships of 2–4 months are eligible for funding. 

At the International Office, you apply exclusively for financial funding. 
Required application documents (In a single PDF file):  

• Completed application form 
• Letter of motivation (max. 1 page) 
• Curriculum vitae (CV) 
• Transcript of records 
• Certificate of enrollment 
• Proof of language proficiency 
(Note: Proof of language proficiency can be submitted at a later date.)

Both programs are aimed at doctoral candidates and postdocs. The application process is entirely through the DAAD portal.
