The film screenings will take place in the context of the STICS Summer School, which is organized and led at the IPU Berlin by Prof. Andreas Hamburger. For many years the networking project "Social Trauma in Changing Societies" (STICS) has brought together students and professors from Germany, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Turkey. You can find more information on the project here.
From Monday to Friday, a total of five films from the Social Trauma Network will be screened in the Kant Kino Berlin (Kantstr. 54, 10627 Berlin). But that's not all: After the conclusion of each film, talks will be given by Andreas Hamburger, Dina Iordanova, and Tatjana Petzer as well as a panel discussion involving the film's directors and one film's main protagonist.
The general public may attend the films in the Kant Kino at standard prices.
