IPU Events

Film und Psychoanalyse ist eine Filmreihe der IPU Berlin in Kooperation mit dem City Kino Wedding unter Leitung von Prof. Dr. Andreas Hamburger und Dr. Veronika Heller. Von November 2023 bis Februrar 2024 werden insgesamt vier Filme gezeigt und anschließend diskutiert.

The climate monologues tell of the global struggles of diverse people against climate change. They provide insight into how people in different regions of the world are feeling the consequences of climate change in their own biographies.

The lecture series ‘Psychoanalytic and Cultural Theory’ devotes itself to the influence of psychoanalysis on cultural theories at large as well as to particularly poignant applications of psychoanalytical research to current cultural phenomena.

Der Vortrag untersucht die Phänomenologie des Hasses anhand literarischer Beispiele, psychischer Störungen und aktueller gesellschaftlicher Phänomene.

With the help of DAAD funding, the Foundation to Promote University Psychoanalysis has created a position for a visiting professor in memory of Horst Kächele. As part of the visiting professorship, the IPU has created the International Horst Kächele Memorial Webinar Series on Contemporary Psychoanalytic Research, which will be continued on 11 February 2023.
