The International Psychoanalytic University Berlin invites its students to apply for funding for internships abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ and PROMOS programmes in the first half of 2026.

An internship abroad offers you the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience in an international environment, to deepen your language skills in practice, and to develop important intercultural competences for your further academic and professional path.
Important: Internship registration is handled by the Studies and Teaching office. For subject-specific, technical, or registration questions, please contact them directly. Internships of 2–4 months are eligible for funding.
At the International Office, you apply exclusively for financial funding.

As part of the DAAD and BMBF campus initiative to promote international specialists, the IPU Berlin has been offering courses in German as a foreign language with additional subject-specific psychology materials since the winter semester 2024/25 to acquire the language skills of course levels B2 through C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Both programs are aimed at doctoral candidates and postdocs. The application process is entirely through the DAAD portal.
