You are a student at IPU Berlin and would like to share your experience with others while developing media skills before graduation? Perfect! Apply now for our new Student Ambassador Program! The program is carried out on a voluntary basis.
We look forward to receiving applications from IPU students who enjoy filming or would like to learn how to do so, and who are willing to talk to prospective students about their experiences at the IPU. We are looking for up to two Student Ambassadors per degree program who are studying at least one semester in Berlin.
What does a Student Ambassador do?
As a Student Ambassador, you will:
- Support at selected events and projects throughout the year, such as Open Day, Info-Sessions, IPU events, etc.
- Share your experiences with prospective and newly enrolled students digitally or in-person.
- Participate in Student Ambassador takeovers on IPU’s Instagram or TikTok channels, supported by the Marketing & Communications team.
- Create photos and videos of yourself, the campus and student life, as well as content about topics of your choice, in coordination with and subject to approval by the Marketing & Communications team.
Why should you become an ambassador?
As a Student Ambassador, you will receive:
- Media training and team-building sessions at the beginning of each semester.
- An official IPU Student Ambassador T-shirt.
- Monthly meeting with the Marketing & Communication team.
- A certificate after at least six months of active participation.
- End-of-year celebration event.
Who can become a Student Ambassador?
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at IPU Berlin.
- Enjoy studying at IPU and are happy to share your experience.
- Are eager to engage creatively and independently.
- Feel comfortable appearing in photos and videos on our social media channels.
- Enthusiastic to share your IPU Student Life with others.
- Can commit to an initial six-month term, with the possibility to renew.
