Ethics Committee

Welcome to the homepage of the Ethics Committee at the International Psychoanalytic University (IPU) Berlin. The responsibility of the Ethics Committee consists of providing ethical opinions and assessments of psychological research projects with human subjects, which are conducted at the IPU. When exercising their responsibility, the committee draws upon the guidelines for the securing of good scientific practice and on avoiding scientific misconduct at the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin, as well as on the ethical guidelines of the relevant specialist associations, such as for instance the German Psychological Society (DGP) and the Association of German Professional Psychologists (BDP).

The committee is composed of professors, research associates and representatives of the university administration and the students at the IPU.
