Stays abroad with the Erasmus+ programme

The non-academic personnel at the IPU Berlin and its partner universities are accorded an important role in the context of internationalising the related university administrations.

The Erasmus+ programme supports further training and advanced education measures of university personnel at universities in Erasmus+ programme countries (see below).

Benefits of an Erasmus+ stay:

  • Stay on the basis of an agreed and coordinated programme
  • Have professional exchanges and gain new perspectives
  • Strengthen one's own competencies
  • Expansion and consolidation of networks


Advanced education and training formats:

  • Observer visits
  • Job shadowing
  • Study visits
  • Participation in seminars and workshops
  • Participation in language courses


The stays abroad last at least two days and up to two months at the most.

The Erasmus+ programme support covers:

  • Reimbursement of travel costs
  • Reimbursement of accommodation costs
  • Special grants for those supported with children
  • Special grants for those supported with disabilities
