Media Resources

IPU library media resources

Our stock of books and other resources are aligned to the study courses provided by the IPU and  serve to deepen and further develop the various course content being taught. The collection of printed publications forms the basis of the library's media resources, consisting of monographs, anthologies, congress papers and publications, reference works, scientific and academic dissertations and theses, journals and yearbooks. The stock of items is being expanded continuously and are completely referenced in our OPAC system.

In addition, the library has a wide range of electronic media resources. These include electronic journals and specialist databases as well as a digital collection of classic psychoanalytical texts, which can be accessed freely in the network.

Access to licensed resources provided by the library is only available for computers in the IPU network. IPU members can use any internet connection available to establish a secure and encoded connection for their computers via VPN with the IPU network (VPN connection instructions).

Please always comply with the publisher's or publishing house's conditions of use.

The following is generally applicable for published texts provided for a fee:

  • Access to the full texts is only permitted for members of the respective facility.
  • The full text of the article may only be printed or saved for personal use and for research purposes.
