The IPU is looking for an addition (m/w/d) to the Studies and Teaching Office as soon as possible

The IPU Berlin is a young, private nonprofit university in Moabit that offers psychological study courses with a focus on psychoanalysis. Currently, approximately 800 students are enrolled in full-time and part-time programs. The IPU is a scientific institution that is distinguished through its psychoanalytically based profile. Many of the teaching staff originate from clinical practice, and the university is associated with numerous international projects. The IPU is also a central point for psychoanalytic teaching and research in Germany and abroad.

In this position, you will be a part of a small, dynamic team with a flat hierarchy and uncomplicated official channels.  

Tasks

  • Organization and administration of examinations, data administration in the “CampusNet” campus management system
  • Coordination of the application and admissions process
  • Consultations with students and prospective students regarding study courses and admissions requirements, among other topics
  • Administration of student files, departmental documents, and archives
  • Close cooperation and coordination with individual commissions, research and teaching departments, bookkeeping, IT, quality management, and facility management
  • Involvement in information sessions for students and prospective students

Profile

  • University degree
  • Professional experience in university operations, including student administration and consultations, as well as competencies in academic landscapes and structures
  • Experience in the use of campus management systems, ideally CampusNet, and competent skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Independent and structured work ethic and readiness to actively integrate yourself into the university
  • A sense of responsibility as well as precision and discretion
  • Friendly, service-oriented demeanor and capacity for teamwork
  • Good English language skills and intercultural competencies

You will report to the Head of the Studies and Teaching Office and actively support her in all areas.
