Personal Styles in Psychoanalysis

Symposion with renowned psychoanalysts from Germany and abroad

The psychoanalysts Michael Ermann and Jürgen Körner, one of the founders and Honorary President of the International Psychoanalytic University (IPU) Berlin, cordially invite all those interested to attend a 2-day symposium entitled ›Personal Styles in Psychoanalysis‹ at the IPU Berlin. The symposium begins on 1 November at 19.00 and ends on 2 November at 17.00.

Taking the symposium's title ›Personal Styles in Psychoanalysis‹ as their subject matter, renowned psychoanalysts from Germany and abroad will conduct a critical discussion on the theory of the psychoanalytical technique, the function of concepts, effectiveness factors, settings and rules, the importance of empirical research for psychoanalysts and, finally, on how psychoanalysts deal with and manage themselves.

Symposium Location
The event is being held at the "Silberlaube" at the Freie Universität (Habelschwerdter Allee), lecture hall 1 B.
