Bachelor of Arts (BA) Psychology Course of Studies

Have you just completed your secondary schooling (A levels or equivalents) and are now interested in taking a course of studies in psychology with a practice-oriented direction?

The career-related BA Psychology is the alternative for enquiring lateral thinkers who

do not get deterred by a limited number of study places as an entry barrier to a study course
are more concerned with people than with numbers and statistics
want to become familiar with the practice of psychology from the very beginning
value a friendly, familiar study atmosphere with personal supervision and the latest facilities
would like to learn at a university with committed staff who are there for the students

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) Psychology course is the right choice for those applicants who want a programme clearly aimed at the practice of psychology from the very beginning. Here at the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin, you become familiar with psychology as a science which maps the human as a social and cultural being. In addition, you learn how human subjects develop themselves in social and societal contexts, how they shape and structure their surroundings, how they become mentally ill under unfavourable conditions, and how they can become healthy again in a conducive relationship bond using psychological means. One vital aspect is that our BA Psychology qualifies you over the long-term for a career as a psychologist. In other words, following the successful conclusion of this study course, you are in a position to work independently in the field of psychology or go on to take and graduate from a Master's course of studies.

Study Costs

The tuition fees for the BA Psychology course amount to €4,200 per semester. The IPU is currently striving to establish its own stipend system.
